Finally, it's Hallowe'en eve and I think ( think ) we are prepared for tomorrow's much anticipated festivities. Gigi finally decided what she wanted to be for the school parade: a fairy princess. In the past, I often found trying to achieve the perfect costume a frustrating experience. I'm glad that Gigi isn't quite old enough to demand the ultimate Dora ensemble (or whatever strikes her fancy - the costume requests change daily) because if I found deciding on a costume frustrating, she would probably find it tantrum-inducing. Who remembers Mr. Dressup? I loved Mr. Dressup when I was a kid and I wanted a Tickle Trunk just like his - right down to the big ol' psychedelic flower printed trunk that contained all that cool dressup stuff.
